Rare and localised

This species occurs only in the Warby Ranges in Victoria, although it is relatively common on the western slopes and plains regions of NSW. The species is restricted to granite outcrops in the Ranges and occurs in several isolated communities. The species is distinguished by its stiff, sharp-pointed curved phyllodes and bright yellow flowers 2-3cm long. The species grows as an understory to Eucalyptus dwyeri.
These trees are located in Warby State Park, Warby Ranges, west of Wangaratta in isolated stands.
