Outstanding example of species

A fine example of the species dominating the immediate landscape. The tree's canopy has been pruned on the south side to accommodate electricity wires, but remains largely intact with a well proportioned canopy spread. Walwa Station was established circa 1839 and the present homestead survives from1848 in almost original condition. The property is classified by the National Trust and listed on the Register of the National Estate.
This tree is located in the front paddock on the left hand side of the drive entering from Murray Valley Highway.
