Rare or Localised:
A tree of a species or variety that is rare or of very localised distribution.
The finest example in a stand of four trees growing on the Murray River bank. The species has a scattered distribution in NW Victoria and is principally a South Australian species. This stand is regarded as the most easterly occurrence of the species. The measured tree (second from south end) is a particularly fine specimen. The stand requires protection and appropriate management to allow natural regeneration to occur.
This tree is located on Murray Valley Highway, Boundary Bend, opposite the CFA Fire Station.
