Location or Context:
A tree which occurs in a unique location or context and so provides a contribution to the landscape.

Outstanding Size:
A tree outstanding for its large height, trunk circumference or canopy spread.

A very large and old example of the species. The tree's form andlarge spreading branches are particularly attractive. The tree is larger than the example of Brighton Technical School (2.4m; 9.1m; 14.5m respectively) which has in recent times had several branches removed and is in poor condition.
