Statement of Significance

Outstanding size

A very large example of the species, towering over the surrounding vegetation and notable for its straight trunk. An unusual form of the species, the tree has developed a fluted butt and straight clean trunk. The tree is in good condition but has bracket fungi on the lower trunk. Growing in association with Sassafras and Eucalyptus ssp.
This tree is located off Coast Range Road, 40 metres east of the road, 7.9 km from the intersection with Goonmirk Rocks Road.
