Statement of Significance

The Beauville Estate, built 1934 - 6, was the second estate of Albert Victor Jennings (later knighted) whose company later became Australia's largest private home-order builder and the largest and most influential provider of house and land packages. It is of significance as the clear harbinger of the planned community developments which emerged in the post war decades.
