Statement of Significance

Homestead of district pioneer David Edgar, J.P. built form 1858 in brick (recently painted and extended) around three sides of a courtyard with inner and outer verandahs and attic rooms in gabled corner bays; also, adjacent brick and stone station buildings, one originally a house for John Edgar of 187 0 with removable internal walls and the other, of unknown date, with attic rooms.
