Statement of Significance

A simply detailed two-storey rendered brick building erected in 1856 on a prominent corner site for Thomas Mickle. The Timor Street frontage was extended in 1869 and the Liebig Street frontage was extended in 1871 for Michael Gleeson, stable owner. There have been many alterations internally and externally a new facade was added in 1876 by George Jobbins.
