Statement of Significance

Large single-storey house built c.1860, with verandah on three sides with iron and timber valance, but stuccoed pillars and balustrade of much later date. Interior, somewhat altered, includes three interesting carved timber mantel-pieces, two of them 19th century exhibition pieces of Chinese and German make, one from Niel Black's demolished Noorat homestead, probably Scottish.
