Statement of Significance

Simple rectangular grandstand with change rooms under the seating and decorative balustrading and posts carrying an iron roof of concave section with ridge finials. Adjacent former bandstand (c.1900) with sides now closed in, contrasting convex roof and a belvedere.
File Note 1990: The bandstand has been relocated to the Hamilton Botanic Gardens.
