Statement of Significance

A buttressed brick church, with cement dressings, built on the "Murndal" estate in 1881 to the design of Frederick Wyatt.
The building comprises a two-bay nave, porch, apsidal chancel and a west transept added in 1928-33. The interior contains a wealth of fittings, including carved wooden altar, metal altar rails and stained glass by Percy Bacon Bros., London, and William Montgomery, Melbourne.
