Statement of Significance

A solid looking brick building of six rooms and of indeterminate style. Started in about 1870 with miscellaneous alterations and additions until 1902. It was also used at various times by a Masonic Lodge, a Grammar School, the Borough Council for Council Chambers, a State School and various local societies.
