A diminutive single-manual organ of three stops built by an anonymous English organ builder circa 1870 and marketed as a standard drawing room organ by the English firm of musical retailers Chappell & Company. The original locations of the instrument are unknown; it was placed in St Roch's, Glen Iris from the 1930s to 1978 and was in private ownership until 1990 when installed at Alexandra. The instrument has an attractive case with carved cresting, filigree fretwork panels and two three-pipe towers containing pipes diapered in the 1980s by Marc Nobel. The Piccolo repalces a Dulciana stop removed many years ago.
