Statement of Significance

Langulac Station is associated with the Twomey family, early settlers and pastoralists of the Western district from the 1840's.Edward Twomey, youngest brother of the family,settled the station in 1882. The bluestone homestead dates from the constructionof two original rooms in 1865 with further addtions added in 1890. The property includes a number of outbuildings, including a very large woolshed built on massive foundations of bluestone piers and dating to 1907.
