Statement of Significance

A substantial weatherboard house of 1898 with verandahs on three sides featuring simple timber arches and extending into a conservatory. Main rooms have marble mantlepieces, elaborate plasterwork and double-hung windows opening to floor level. The appearance is enhanced by attractive siting on a prominent well-treed knoll. The stables are also worthy of note. Recent alterations including those to some windows are excluded.
