Statement of Significance

The original house was built by Charles Carter c 1856 and is still owned by the Carter family. The symmetrical and gabled rooms at each end of the front verandah were demolished in 1958. Another house of unknown but later date has had various alterations and additions in 1890 and 1913. The woolshed was built about 1885 but was moved to its present position in 1903.
