Statement of Significance

Two storey house of sandstone built c.1879 by the Sartori family of vine-growers from Southern Switzerland in the manner of that country. It includes a large cellar with wine making equipment. The external rendering is a late addition and the original canterlever balcony has been removed but is capable of restoration.
