Statement of Significance

A single-storey residence with twin gables and carved bargeboards, built in 1851 on a prominent site with extensive views. The wide verandah on three sides has full height folding timber louvred doors. Multi-coloured brick extensions of the 1880s at the rear include a notable coach house and stable yard complex with brick arched openings and a patterned slate roof. Two small rendered brick gabled later additions are excluded from the classification.
