Stone cottage of c.1843 of pioneer Daniel Mackinnon, extended c. 1854 for his partner Hugh Scott by addition of bluestone house with high double gables and timber verandah on three sides; former dentailated timber verandah valances and elaborate barge boards are no longer in position.
