Statement of Significance

A two-manual organ of 11 speaking stops built in 1887 by George Fincham and remaining substantially unaltered apart from the gilding of the facade pipes, which were originally stencilled, and the substitution of a Fifteenth for the original Piccolo stop. The instrument is of partucular interest for its unusual double-sided case with two facades, designed to be fitted into a corner of the church. Originally sited in the chancel, the organ is now placed at the west end of the church.
