Statement of Significance

File note 20/09/2012:
Constructed around 1860 and later became the residence for Dr Sparling. It remained as a Doctor's residence until sold to Frank Graham, who operated the Buninyong Tannery, and in the 1920's, to James Howard who managed the Howard Box Factory. The house was purchased by the Leather family in 1973.(Buninyong & District Historical Society)
