Statement of Significance

A red brick church built in 1864, to the design of H R Caselli with alterations by C D Figgis of 1869. The spire, added in about 1881 and originally of slate is distinguished by prominent bell-cast eaves, rather in the manner of the architects Crouch & Wilson, supported on cream brick corbelling.
