A single-manual chamber organ of six stops built in the 1860's by the London organbuilder John Courcelle and one of the seven pipe organs which he is known to have sent to Victoria at the time. Its earliest known location is thought to have been the private chapel of "Rose Hill", Toorak, the property of William Philpott, and it was later placed in "Noorilim", Murchison, the property of Willilam Irving Winter-Irving. The date of its arrival at Malvern is unknown. The instrument retains its elegant grained-timber case, with classical cornice and four flats of dummy pipes, brass builder's nameplate, action and pipework.
