Statement of Significance

One of a pair of shops designed by Sydney Smith & Ogg and erected in 1918, Brinsmead's Pharmacy is exceptional by Australian and possibly by overseas standards, for its intact shop-front and interior. Both are of outstanding quality in design and execution, for which the firm of Thomas Duff & Brothers was responsible.
