A susbstantial and imposing two-storey rendered brick building with attractive cast iron verandah trim, built in 1899-1900 for the Victorian Permanent Building Society. Known as the Elgin Hall Guest House in the 1940s and pruchased by the Roman Catholic Trust Corporation in the 1960.
