Two terrace houses of similar and harmonious design; No 146 has an additional storey to emphasize its corner position and interesting "blind" windows on the return wall to Morrison Place. No 48 has been defaced by the removal of its verandah and balcony but is capable of being restored. The iron fencing of both houses is included in the Classification.
