File NumberB5898LevelLocal |
An unusual post-edwardian factory built in 1922 for Khyat and Co, whitework manufacturers and designed by architects Arthur and Hugh Peck. Built later than the adjoining factory buildings, it illustrates the period over which these uses were employed in this part of the city and it is architecturally distinctive in its own right, being one of the few buildings in Melbourne to have direct references to the Art Nouveau movement.
