Statement of Significance

Brick house, in which "nail-head" brick mouldings are combined with stilted semi-circular arches, iron columns with neo-gothic caps and bases, neo-classic eaves brackets, French influence in a square tower and Dutch in a bow-windowed gable-end, all on a blue-stone base, built 1873 with billiard room and stables added by 1900. Painted 1970s.
