Church: A church unusual in the central city for its parish church scale and surviving garden. It is of bluestone with cement dressings and was designed by T.A. Kelly. The first section was built in 1869 - 70 and the chancel added in 1884 by J.B. Denny. The building is of the hall church type, incorporating a nave and aisles with cast iron columns, elaborate window tracery, apsidal chancel and a tower which was extended in 1936 . The windows include stained glass by Ferguson and Urie.
School: Bluestone, pressed cement dressings to windows and buttresses. Church is rectangular, but by use of iron columns, spandrels and the arrangement of roof trusses has the effect of a nave, aisles and transept.
