The first section was built in 1869 - 70 and the chancel added in 1884 by J.B. Denny. The building is of the hall church type, incorporating a nave and aisles with cast iron columns, elaborate window tracery, apsidal chancel and a tower which was extended in 1936 . The windows include stained glass by Ferguson and Urie.

School: Bluestone, pressed cement dressings to windows and buttresses. Church is rectangular, but by use of iron columns, spandrels and the arrangement of roof trusses has the effect of a nave, aisles and transept.
