Why is it significant?
The house is architecturally significant as a notable Modernist house and is representative of the characteristic architectural style of the Eltham- Warrandyte area (Criterion D). The house is historically significant because of its associations with active artistic community of the Eltham-Warrandyte area (Criterion H).
