Why is it significant?
The c1905 farmhouse, all the pre 1920 outbuildings and the surrounding site to a radius of 50 metres.
The farmhouse and outbuildings are historically and aesthetically significant to the Shire of Nillumbik.
The farmhouse is historically significant because it was associated with the MacMillan family of orchardists over a long period of time and has strong links with Eltham's fruit growing industry (Criteria A & H). The farmhouse is historically and aesthetically significant as one of a small number of pre 1920s weatherboard dwellings in the rural areas of the Shire, and one of the most substantial (Criteria A, B & E).
