Statement of Significance

Although unconfirmed, Beltons Bridge is a tangible reminder of Australias involvement in World war II, in particular the housing and use of Prisoner of War labour in rural Victoria. The site is considered to be of low scientific significance as the fabric and structure are in poor condition. The site may be of local significance due to its wartime associations.
