Statement of Significance

The Edgar's Creek Reserve is of local significance for its historical associations with the Woiworung and farming, the original lifeblood of Coburg North. It is also Coburg's most important recreation reserve east of the Merri Creek, servicing Coburg's North and the Housing Commission of Victoria's Newlands Estate
