c.1920s, at 20 O'Hea Street, Coburg.
How is it significant?
The former warder's cottage and the former dairy at 20 O'Hea Street,
Coburg is of local historic significance to the City of Moreland.
Why is it significant?
Of historic significance, as a reasonably intact example of the type of
cottage that most of the Pentridge Prison warders and staff owned or
rented in Coburg, within 800 yards of the prison, between 1863 and 1900.
The dairy is significant a representative and now rare example of one of
the 38 known dairies which were operating in Coburg between the 1920s
and the 1950s. (AHC Criteria B.2 & D.2)
