Statement of Significance

Although in good condition, the integrity of the building has been compromised with alterations to the columns, the introduction of slate paving and an inappropriate fence and colour scheme. The terrace as a whole is of regional significance as one of the furthest north and most impressive examples of this type built in the northern suburbs of Melbourne in the late 19th century (Hubbard 1991).
