Why is it significant?
Of historic significance, for their ability to aid in the demonstration of late nineteenth century development in Brunswick and for their association with prominent local businesswoman Elizabeth Dodd, who built these houses and named them for her four children - Clarice, Maie, Helen and Thomas. Of aesthetic significance, as an unusual and reasonably intact group of identical semi-detached Edwardian terraces. (AHC Criterion E.1)
