Aesthetically, they are significant as three identical Edwardian houses in reasonably intact condition which are notable for the range of decorative detail to the facade. (AHC Criterion E.1) Constructed in 1911-12, they form part of a group of related Edwardian era villas that also includes No. 27, which contribute to the historic character of Carnarvon Street.
