How are they significant?
The houses at 29, 31 and 33 Carnarvon Street, Brunswick are of local aesthetic significance to the City of Moreland.

Why are they significant?
Aesthetically, they are significant as three identical Edwardian houses in reasonably intact condition which are notable for the range of decorative detail to the facade. (AHC Criterion E.1) Constructed in 1911-12, they form part of a group of related Edwardian era villas that also includes No. 27, which contribute to the historic character of Carnarvon Street.
