Why is it significant?
Of aesthetic significance, as a completely intact and homogeneous early twentieth century residential precinct compising a largely unaltered collection of houses dating from 1911 to 1920, after which development ceased and changes appear to have been minimal. The street clearly illustrates the enduring popularity of the Victorian style of house design in Brunswick, continuing to be a favourite decades after it had been superseded elesewhere.
