The Weston Street Precinct, comprising houses at 62-118 and 87-115
Weston Street.
The Weston Street Precinct is of local architectural significance
to the City of Moreland.
The Weston Street precinct is of local architectural significance
as a reasonably unified streetscape of substantially intact
single-storey terrace houses and detached cottages in a range of
styles dating from the 1860s to the 1920s. Buildings of particular
architectural interest include early bluestone cottages from the 1860s
located at 66-68 and 78 Weston Street; their intactness is fair. There
are several rows of Victorian terraces, including two reasonably
intact runs between 107 and 125 Weston Street. A pair of semi-detached
Edwardian brick cottages is located at 82-84 Weston Street. These
cottages have unusual column detailing to the front porches and retain
original screen doors.
