The Precinct displays a moderate level of integrity and cohesion of scale and materials. The housing is generally single-storey, with a mix of detached terrace forms. The only originally non-residential building is the double storey bi-chrome brick former bakery and stables at 25-27 Overend Street. Of particular architectural note is the 1880s Italianate villa at 120 Church Street.
