The Brunswick Road West Precinct, comprising buildings at 483-507 Brunswick Road.
The Brunswick Road West Precinct is of local architectural significance to the City of Moreland.
The Brunswick Road West Precinct is of local architectural significance as a residential precinct containing a group of largely intact substantial houses, which display a range of styles popular in the Inter-War and immediate Post-War period. Their elevated sites are distinctive and their terraced gardens provide a clear view of these houses from the main road. The houses are generally single-storey (with some garages below), and approximately half of the houses are bungalows. 483 Brunswick Road is a particularly large bungalow that is built with the typical combination of clinker brick and render work. 485 Brunswick Road is an example of the Spanish Mission style while 487 is an elaborate example of late Moderne in cream brick and 507 an example of the English Domestic Revival style.
