Statement of Significance

The hotel is still extant but the area alongside it is now covered by an open asphalt carpark and therefore there is good potential for archaeolgocial remains of the cottages and remians associated with the hotel. The hotel is on the Heritage Overlay, but the large carpark alongside it is not included in the registration.
