Statement of Significance

Architecturally, the panelled verandah supports and detailing represent an early form of detailing which has not survived in quantity in the State. It also forms a valuable part of a house group linked by proximity and ownership with the rich Golden Gully gold field.

Historically, its long association with miners complements the adjoining goldfield's significance.
