C Listed - Local Significance The house at 13 Wimmera Street is aesthetically significant at a LOCAL level. It demonstrates original design qualities of the interwar Functionalist style. These qualities include the emphasis on the horizontal in the flat roof and parapet, brick bands and banks of early timber framed double hung windows. Other intact qualities include the curved corners, simple geometry, large glazed areas and light brick colour providing a radical, streamlined effect. The house at 13 Wimmera Street is historically significant at a LOCAL level. It is associated with the Sutton Estate subdivision of 4 February, 1922.
