Statement of Significance

This house pair is significant to the Cardinia Shire for its unusual row house form, its early brick construction and its obvious relative age, compared to the rest of the Lang Lang township development. Its construction is thought to be linked with the minor boom which occurred in Lang Lang during the Federation period, leading up tot he 1920s, when a number of commercial premises were built in the main street.
