The Cora Lynn Cheese Factory, constructed from c1910, has significance for Cardinia Shire as a property associated with the Drouin Co-operative Butter Factory, an important industrial group within the district. It is significant as a architecturally interesting example of a complex connected with the district dairying industry, and, as a surviving cheese factory, a rare type of a building once common throughout Victorian country areas and particularly within Cardinia Shire.
