Statement of Significance

One of several hotel sitesonSydney Road between Wallan and Kilmore. The land was purchased in 1853 by Trainer and Dudley who then built the hotel. Although there is very little evidence remaining on the surface, there may be archaeological potentialremaining forthis early hotel site.
