Architecturally, one of a small group of European modern designs in Melbourne, which contains most of the elements used by this group, but is not composed as successfully as other examples (see Beaumont Estate, Ivanhoe) of regional importance.

Historically, one of the few totally modern houses in Essendon and in one of the later middle class subdivisions; of local interest.
