Statement of Significance

Architecturally, a prominent. and generally complete example of an uncommon suburban villa form, usually related specifically to ecclesiastical residences. However it has been severely compromised by the painting of the brickwork: of regional interest and high local importance.

Historically, recognisable as a church residence (although short lived) and the home of locally prominent persons, one linked with rural production: of local importance and regional interest.
