The house known as "Nyallo" at 14 Kent Street, Ascot
Vale, built for the local manufacturer, Charles Stewart Cox, in 1907
is significant.
Nyallois of local aesthetic significance to the City of Moonee Valley.
Aesthetically, it is significant (Criterion E) for the unusual
decoration, especially in the verandah frieze, spandrels, barges and
half timbering which sets it apart from other timber villas of the
first decade of the century and adds depth to the Edwardian period
housing stock in the Municipality.
